Sunninghill Park, Country estate in Sunninghill, England

The estate spans 665 acres adjacent to Windsor Great Park, featuring a main house with six reception rooms, twelve bedrooms, and twelve bathrooms.

The property originated as part of Windsor Forest until 1630, when King Charles I granted it to Thomas Carey, who sold it to Sir Thomas Draper.

The Georgian house served as headquarters for the American Ninth Air Force from 1943 to 1944 before being destroyed by fire in 1947.

The Crown Estate purchased the property in 1945 and constructed a new residence in 1987, which became home to the Duke of York until 2004.

In 2007, Kazakh businessman Timur Kulibayev acquired the property for £15 million, leading to its eventual demolition and replacement with a 14-bedroom mansion.
