Equestrian statue of Elizabeth II, Bronze equestrian statue in Windsor Great Park, England

The equestrian statue of Elizabeth II is a bronze sculpture located at one of the highest points of Queen Anne's Ride in Windsor Great Park. It depicts the Queen as she appeared during the 1970s at one and a half times life size.

The sculpture was dedicated on October 27, 2003, and was the first public equestrian statue of Elizabeth II in the United Kingdom at that time. Its creation took place during the Golden Jubilee celebrations.

The sculpture displays the close connection between the British monarchy and riding traditions through its placement on royal grounds. It stands in a location long associated with royal riding activities.

The monument can be reached by following marked pathways through Windsor Great Park, with parking available at various locations throughout the grounds. The best views are obtained from the marked walking routes that lead to this vantage point.

The horse in the sculpture does not represent any specific royal mount but combines characteristics from multiple horses the Queen rode. This choice reflects her long history with different horses.
