Church of Saint Mary, Anglican church in Woburn, England
The church features a raised chancel above the nave, with subdued interior colors and French Gothic architectural elements throughout the building.
Henry Clutton designed and built this church between 1865 and 1868, funded by William Russell, the 8th Duke of Bedford for £30,000.
The east window contains stained glass by Charles Eamer Kempe from 1894, positioned above a gilded reredos made in Oberammergau.
Located on Park Street opposite the village parking area, the church offers various services including Holy Communion and monthly Evensong.
The church tower originally contained a 6,160-pound bell, recorded as the largest in any English parish church during that period.
