St Mark's Church

St Mark's Church is a Gothic Revival building with a tall steeple and a continuous nave flanked by side aisles. The structure was expanded over time and gained a dedicated baptistry area near the end of its construction period.

Construction began in 1890 and expanded the nave with additional side aisles by 1894. The building later became an independent parish, separated from the territory of a neighboring church.

This Anglican church blends Catholic-influenced worship practices into its services. The way the altar and sanctuary are arranged reflects these mixed traditions that visitors can observe during their visit.

The church is open to visitors during its regular Sunday services held each morning. Keep in mind this is an active place of worship where the local community gathers regularly.

The baptistry was added during the final construction phase rather than being included from the start. This late addition reveals how the building's design evolved to meet the community's changing needs.
