Butler's Retreat, Victorian restaurant near Queen Elizabeth's Hunting Lodge in Chingford, England.

The Grade II listed building features traditional architectural elements with large windows overlooking the surrounding forest landscape in Waltham Forest.

Built in the early nineteenth century, the structure gained its name from John Butler who operated the establishment as a temperance retreat in 1891.

The restaurant maintains its heritage as one of the few remaining Victorian refreshment houses in the Epping Forest district of London.

Located at Rangers Road, the restaurant provides indoor and outdoor seating options with direct access to forest walking paths and public transportation.

The building served as a non-alcoholic establishment during the temperance movement before undergoing restoration by the City of London Corporation in 2012.
