Children's Nature Park

The Children's Nature Park spans 118 acres of land featuring play areas, outdoor activity centers, baseball fields, and community rice paddies.

During the Edo period, the park's large pond functioned as a water supply source for Futumatagawa, contributing to regional water management.

The park earned designation as a Yokohama City Cultural Asset for providing a natural habitat to Genji-fireflies, a protected species in Japan.

Visitors reach the park via a twenty-minute walk south from Futumatagawa Station on the Sotetsu Line or by direct bus service.

The park contains 200 plum trees across 30 varieties and 1000 cherry trees, creating seasonal displays during winter and spring months.
