Парк природе Зобнатица

Zobnatica Nature Park is located near Backa Topola and features an artificial lake surrounded by extensive equestrian facilities and grasslands. The grounds include riding arenas, grazing areas, and designated walking paths throughout the property.

Zobnatica was established in 1750 as a horse breeding facility during the reign of Empress Maria Theresa. The site expanded over centuries to become a major center for equestrian activities and horse training.

The Horse Museum displays saddles, bridles, carriages, and historical records connected to local horse breeding practices. You can see how central horses have been to life in this region.

The park offers horseback riding lessons and guided trails for walking and fishing by the lake. It is best to visit during warmer months and wear comfortable clothing suitable for outdoor activities.

The park preserves rare Serbian horse breeds that you would not easily find elsewhere in the region. Regular equestrian competitions and racing events take place at the onsite hippodrome throughout the year.
