Tron Lightcycle Power Run is a roller coaster at Shanghai Disneyland Park in Chuansha, China. Passengers sit forward-leaning on replica motorcycles and travel through illuminated halls and outdoor sections beneath a large arched canopy.
This attraction opened in June 2016 as part of the new Shanghai Disneyland theme park. It was the first implementation of a Tron theme in any Disney park worldwide.
The ride places guests inside a digital racing scenario with glowing trails and neon colors inspired by science fiction worlds. Visitors waiting in line watch light cycles speed past through transparent walls.
All riders must be at least 122 cm tall to participate. Lockers are available to store bags and loose items securely.
The arched canopy changes color at night and glows in shifting hues above the entire area. The track briefly exits outdoors before returning into the darkened interior space.
