The Museo Casa de los Abuelos functions as a traditional folk museum displaying decorative arts and cultural items from the Antioquia region of Colombia.

The museum was established in 1956 by physician Alfredo Correa Henao to document the lifestyle of colonizers from Antioquia and Old Caldas through period artifacts.

The museum recreates typical living spaces from the 19th and early 20th centuries, featuring three permanent exhibitions focusing on traditional customs, urban life, and pre-Hispanic pottery.

Visitors can explore the museum Monday, Thursday, and Friday from 9 AM to 12 PM and 2 PM to 4 PM, with extended weekend hours for increased accessibility.

The archaeological collection, inaugurated in 1999, contains recovered artifacts that connect Antioquia's colonization history with pre-Hispanic heritage through local archaeological discoveries.
