The Los Fundadores Bridge, known as the Peldar Bridge, carries Las Vegas Avenue over 37th Street on a 50 m reinforced-concrete tower inclined 5°. Its deck is an 18.6 m wide, 2.4 m deep tri-cellular box girder, with cable stays spaced every 12 m and converging in a fan at the tower top.

The project began in the early 2000s in response to growing traffic demands in the area. Its completion marked an important step in the infrastructure development of this part of the city.

Locals call it Puente de Peldar after the nearby Peldar glassworks, while its official name, Los Fundadores, honours the city's founders. The bridge was conceived as a symbol of the community's persistence in overcoming the violent period Colombia was living through when it was built. In 2004, a year after completion, it received the Excelencia en Concreto award from Asocreto in the civil works category.

The bridge serves as a key traffic route connecting different parts of the city in daily use. Pedestrians can cross via designated walkways and gain views of the surrounding area from above.

In 2004, a year after completion, the bridge received the Premio Excelencia en Concreto in the Construcción de Obras Civiles category, awarded by Asocreto. The inclined pylon leans 5° from the vertical, a deliberate choice to give the structure a more dynamic silhouette.
