EPM Library

The EPM Library is an educational facility in downtown Medellín organized across four levels and a semi-basement, housing specialized collections focused on science, industry, environment, and technology. The space provides computer stations, study rooms, and private areas designed for individual and group work.

The library opened on June 2, 2005, as an initiative by Empresas Públicas de Medellín to support education and cultural development in the city. Since then, it has developed into an important facility promoting knowledge in technological and scientific fields.

The library serves as a gathering space where the community comes together to explore knowledge and ideas across different fields. Regular events here celebrate learning and bring together people interested in technology, science, and storytelling.

The facility is accessible during regular opening hours with ample space for studying, research, and participation in events. Visitors should allow flexible time to explore different areas, especially when group activities or demonstrations are taking place.

The library regularly hosts robotics competitions where students demonstrate technical skills through hands-on challenges. These events reveal how deeply connected the facility is to technical education and hands-on learning.
