Parque de la Bailarina is a memorial park in the El Poblado district that stretches between 7th and 9th streets along 43E Avenue. It functions as an environmental corridor connecting the Astorga and Patio Bonito neighborhoods through green space.

The site was laid out as the Astorga park when the Gaitán brothers developed the neighbourhood in the mid-1950s on the grounds of their family's Finca Astorga, with Tulio Ospina drawing the plan. On 15 June 2008 the ballet dancer Isabel Cristina Restrepo Cárdenas was killed here. By municipal agreement 44 of 2008 the park was renamed in her honour on 15 July 2009, at a ceremony led by acting mayor Nora Elena Salazar Molina and the victim's mother, Betty Cárdenas, who unveiled a commemorative plaque and planted the garden's first plant.

The park is a venue of the International Poetry Festival of Medellín. Its popular names, Parque del Amor and Parque de los Enamorados, come from its long use as a meeting place for couples in Astorga. The renaming was requested by the Alas de Mariposa artistic collective, and the 2009 ceremony included a commemorative plaque and the planting of the garden's first plant.

The park lies in the Astorga neighbourhood of El Poblado, between 7th and 9th streets along Carrera 43E, a few blocks from the main El Poblado park and the Poblado metro station. It has an outdoor gym, a chess table, children's games and a lookout point. The 2019 renovation was part of the city's 100 parques para vos programme.

The renaming was requested by the Alas de Mariposa artistic collective, and the municipal bill was presented by Nicolás Albeiro Echeverri Alvarán, second vice-president of the Medellín council. At the 2009 ceremony, acting mayor Nora Elena Salazar Molina and the dancer's mother, Betty Cárdenas, unveiled a commemorative plaque and planted the garden's first plant.
