Changying Global 100 Fantasty Park, amusement park in Haikou, China
Changying Global 100 Fantasty Park is a large amusement and theme park in Changliu, a district of Haikou on the island of Hainan, China. The grounds are divided into several themed zones, including adventure areas, a children's castle, and show venues featuring acrobats and stunt performers.
The park was developed by the Changying Group and built with an investment of over 38 billion yuan. In May 2020, it was officially recognized as a national AAAA-level tourist destination, a classification that placed it among China's better-known leisure sites.
The park draws on Chinese symbols and history, with a replica of Zheng He's Treasure Ship serving as a reminder of China's seafaring past. Decorative elements like lanterns and dragons are scattered throughout the grounds, making that connection visible during an ordinary walk through the park.
Visiting on a weekday tends to be quieter than on weekends and public holidays, when the park draws its largest crowds. Comfortable walking shoes are important, as the different zones require a lot of ground to cover, and some attractions have minimum height requirements.
At the center of the park stands the Loulan Tower, designed to look like an ancient structure and offering wide views over the grounds. The name refers to the lost city of Loulan in the Taklamakan Desert, a place that has captured people's imagination for centuries.
