Lewisham Town Hall, Municipal building in Catford, England
The Lewisham Town Hall complex includes curved municipal offices, a concert hall, and modern extensions spread across multiple connected buildings at Catford Road.
Built in 1932 by architects Bradshaw Gass & Hope, the Grade II listed building replaced an earlier Gothic-style vestry hall from 1875.
The town hall maintains a collection of civic memorabilia and features the Pensive Girl statue by Gerda Rubinstein, installed in 1992.
The building serves as the administrative center for Lewisham Council, providing access to services including council tax, planning, housing, and education.
During World War II, the town hall conducted investigations regarding the January 1943 bombing of Sandhurst Road School in the local area.
