Ringeltaube Vethamonikam Memorial Church, Mylaudy

The Ringeltaube Vethamonikam Memorial Church stands with a cruciform design, measuring 120 feet in length and 45 feet in width, with extending arms of 33 feet.

Founded in 1806 by Reverend William Tobias Ringeltaube, this church marked the beginning of Protestant missionary work in South Travancore and received cathedral status in 2006.

The church incorporates both English and Tamil languages in its services, reflecting the bilingual heritage of Tamil Nadu while serving the Kanyakumari Diocese congregation.

Located at coordinates 8.1574 latitude and 77.5034 longitude, the church conducts regular worship services and holds special commemorations every April 25th.

The church grounds contain the burial sites of Vethamonikam Desikar and Masilamani, two central figures who died on January 27, 1827.
