Walk of fame - Jazz musicians

The Walk of Fame features handprints from over 50 international jazz musicians along a promenade bordered by century-old pine trees near the Mediterranean Sea.

Established in 1960 alongside the Jazz à Juan festival, this memorial started as a tribute to Sidney Bechet and grew into a collection of jazz legends' handprints.

The handprints collection includes marks from Ray Charles, Miles Davis, Ella Fitzgerald, Charles Mingus, and numerous other influential artists who performed at the festival.

Located in La Pinède park, visitors can access the Walk of Fame year-round and combine it with evening concerts during the summer Jazz à Juan festival.

Each summer, new jazz performers add their handprints to the collection, continuing a tradition that documents the evolution of jazz music through physical impressions.
