Moulin de Païou

The Moulin de Païou is a watermill and bakery in Opio that grinds grain using water power and bakes bread on-site. The facility also operates traditional olive presses to produce oil and sells all finished products directly to customers.

The mill complex was established to process the region's agricultural products and has maintained this role for centuries. The water power from a nearby stream still drives the same grinding mechanisms that have been in use for generations.

The building relies on a system of water channels that still uses the same stream flow as it did at the time it was first built. This water route not only powers the mill but also shapes the entire property and how it is laid out.
