Quebrada de los Cóndores, Protected natural area in La Rioja Province, Argentina.
The reserve extends across 800 hectares of granite rock formations combined with flat plateaus covered in natural grasslands near Sierra de los Quinteros.
The Provincial Government of La Rioja established Quebrada de los Cóndores as a protected ecological zone through Law 7849 in May 2005.
Local ranchers maintain traditional practices, sharing their knowledge of livestock management and regional cooking methods with visiting guests.
Access to the reserve begins from La Rioja city via Provincial Route 26 to Tama district, with Santa Cruz de la Sierra serving as the entry point.
The reserve houses approximately 150 Andean condors, which establish their nests along the steep slopes of the mountain formation.
