Maison des libellules

The Maison des Libellules encompasses 400 square meters of exhibition space featuring permanent displays about dragonflies and the Yon Valley ecosystem.

This former presbytery building was transformed into an educational center dedicated to preserving and studying the dragonfly populations of the Vendée region.

The museum organizes regular collaborations with regional schools and environmental organizations to promote understanding of local insect species and their preservation.

The museum operates seasonally with adult entry at 5 euros, offering guided tours and educational workshops from summer through specific weeks in October and November.

The facility includes two hectares of gardens with a sensory table, barefoot trail, and climbing equipment where visitors observe dragonflies in their natural environment.
