Blue Lagoon 3

Blue Lagoon 3 is a natural pool with a round basin, surrounded by limestone cliffs and farmland near Vang Vieng. The water is light blue and calm, with bamboo platforms at the edges and old trees that stretch across the water's surface.

The pool became known as a travel destination in the 2010s as more visitors explored the area around Vang Vieng. Local infrastructure gradually developed to welcome and support growing tourism.

The spot has become popular with travelers passing through the region, and small food vendors have set up along the water's edge. You will meet visitors from many places here, and the relaxed atmosphere attracts people looking for a break from exploring the wider area.

It is best to rent a motorcycle or hire a driver to reach this spot from town. Wear comfortable shoes or water shoes because the edges are slippery and you will walk on bamboo platforms.

What stands out here are two floating bamboo platforms and a zipline system where you jump off mid-lagoon. These activities draw visitors looking for excitement beyond simply swimming and relaxing.
