Lusail Boulevard is a shopping street in Lusail, Qatar. It features a wide pedestrian walkway with two parallel metal rails, flanked by modern buildings, including a tall structure with a patterned roof and diagonal columns, a curved tower with vertical fins, and cylindrical towers lit in purple.
Lusail Boulevard was developed as part of the Lusail City project and opened in time for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. It was built in 24 months across three phases and has since become a central hub for the city.
The street often hosts cultural events and entertainment, and its design includes nods to local heritage, such as a sculpture of a traditional coffee pot. Visitors can also see a large art piece depicting a whale shark, suspended between towers.
The boulevard is easy to explore on foot, with wide walkways and clear signage. It is accessible via the Lusail tram, which has stops along the route, and there is ample underground parking for those arriving by car.
The boulevard is largely air-conditioned, a feature that allows comfortable strolling even during hot months. It also has eight large screens that display 3D content, adding a tech-savvy touch to the experience.
