Museum of Soviet Arcade Machines, Computer museum in Kuznetsky Most, Moscow, Russia.
This museum displays over 50 working arcade machines from the Soviet period, including classic games like Sea Battle and Gorodki. The collection spans different game types that show how people in the USSR spent their free time.
Three graduates of Moscow Polytechnic University founded the museum in 2007 with 37 machines stored in a bomb shelter beneath a student dormitory. The project grew out of passion for preserving these gaming devices from being lost to time.
The machines show what Soviet players valued most: military scenarios, sports competitions, and skill challenges rather than cartoon characters or storytelling. Playing here reveals the kind of entertainment that mattered in that era.
Visitors receive 15-kopeck coins upon entry to operate the machines throughout the visit. With these authentic Soviet coins, you can try any game that interests you during your time there.
The museum preserves original Soviet soda vending machines where visitors can taste authentic beverages from that era. These dispensers come from the same period as the gaming machines and offer a rare chance to experience everyday Soviet life as people knew it.

Moscow offers photographers a wide range of subjects covering centuries of Russian history and architecture. The city combines Orthodox cathedrals with colorful domes, classical theaters and museums, large parks, and modern art galleries. From the medieval fortress walls of the Kremlin to the monumental buildings of the Stalin era, Moscow presents itself as a city of contrasts. Landmarks include Saint Basil's Cathedral on Red Square, the Bolshoi Theatre, and the Cathedral of Christ the Saviour. Parks such as Gorky Park and Zaryadye Park with its floating bridge provide green spaces in the heart of the city. Historical estates like Kolomenskoye and Kuskovo preserve the architecture of past eras. Museums such as the Tretyakov Gallery, the Pushkin Museum, and the Garage Museum of Contemporary Art display works from different periods. The Stalin skyscrapers continue to shape the skyline, while places like Patriarch Ponds, Arbat Street, and Sparrow Hills offer glimpses into Moscow life.
