Penticton Lakeside Resort
Penticton Lakeside Resort is a large hotel building on the south shore of Lake Okanagan with multiple restaurants, shops, and a conference center. Guest rooms and suites feature private balconies with lake views, while the property offers a private beach area, outdoor pool, hot tub, and water sports equipment rentals.
The resort opened in 1982 and became a well-known destination on the lake. After new owners took over in 1993, the property expanded with a conference center, parking garage, and additional restaurants.
The resort's name reflects its location on Lake Okanagan, which is central to Penticton's identity. The three restaurants draw on local references and traditions, with their bird-themed names connecting to the area's natural surroundings.
The resort is just a five-minute walk from downtown Penticton, where you will find shops, restaurants, and local attractions. Parking is available on-site, and pets are welcome; note that seasonal activities vary, with an outdoor skating rink available in winter.
The resort owns Valley View Farm, an on-site garden where fresh local produce is grown for the restaurants. This farm-to-table connection gives guests a direct view into where their meals come from.
