Clumber Park, Historic garden and restaurant in Bassetlaw, England.

Clumber Park is a large parkland with formal gardens, woodland, and a walled kitchen garden containing glasshouses. The grounds feature open lawns, established trees, and distinct garden areas that visitors can explore.

The estate belonged to the Dukes of Newcastle for generations until the main house was demolished in 1938. Various structures and buildings from that era remain standing across the grounds today.

The Chapel of St Mary the Virgin displays Victorian craftsmanship with its Gothic Revival design that shapes how the grounds feel. Visitors notice the detailed stonework and ornaments as they walk through the estate.

The grounds are best explored on foot or by bike, with various trails and paths throughout the property. Multiple cafes are spread across the estate, making it easy to find refreshments during your visit.

The grounds feature a two mile lime tree avenue with roughly 1,300 trees planted in a double row. This natural tunnel is among the longest of its kind in Europe and creates a memorable walk through leafy passages.
