Dom Legend Toruńskich, Interactive museum in Toruń, Poland
The House of Toruń Legends occupies a Gothic basement with six different installations presenting regional stories through theatrical performances and mechanical displays.
The museum illustrates medieval tales, including the story of a burgher woman who poured waste on King Jagiello and a raftsman who saved the city from frogs.
Guides dressed in period costumes lead visitors through interactive exhibitions that showcase local folklore, traditions, and myths from different periods of Toruń's past.
Located at 35 Szeroka Street, the museum opens daily from 10:00 to 18:00, with regular shows starting every hour and special rates for students and disabled visitors.
Visitors participate in building a miniature Leaning Tower and explore a tree house representing the first Teutonic fortress established by the Vistula River in 1231.
