Upside Down World Cebu, Photography museum in Mandaue, Philippines
Upside Down World Cebu is a museum in Mandaue with multiple themed rooms where furniture, decorations, and everyday objects hang upside down from the ceiling. The rooms are arranged so that everything appears inverted, creating a completely flipped-over world.
The museum opened in March 2017 at City Time Square Phase 2 and brought a new concept of upside-down photography experiences to the Cebu region. This type of inverted photo attraction was novel for the area at the time.
Each room shows scenes from daily life in the Philippines, inviting visitors to take photos that look like they are standing on the ceiling. The spaces are designed so you can playfully engage with this visual trick.
The museum is open daily and offers guides who help you position yourself correctly to create convincing photos. Staff members show you various tricks for getting the best optical illusion in each room.
The place is specifically designed so that almost every photo looks perfect without needing any editing. Many visitors are surprised by how real the photos appear, especially when friends and family see them later.
