Ole Savannah Southern Table & Bar
Ole Savannah Southern Table & Bar is a restaurant in a historic industrial building on the waterfront in Kingston, New York. The venue serves Southern-style barbecue and comfort food with modern twists, offering bourbon and craft beers at two bars located inside and outside.
The building originally served as a boiler shop for the Cornell Steamboat Company, which was founded in 1847 and repaired tugboats that operated on the Hudson River. The site was later converted into a restaurant and remains part of Kingston's historic Rondout district.
The restaurant offers both indoor and outdoor seating with views toward the Rondout Landing. Visitors should know the location sits in the waterfront district and is easily accessible on foot if staying nearby.
The building is undergoing a transformation and will reopen in spring 2025 as The Cornell with an international menu. The redesign maintains the brick walls and soaring ceilings while paying tribute to Kingston's maritime history.
