The Palmieri family founded Vannulo in 1907, turning an agricultural plot into a specialized buffalo mozzarella center. Over more than a century, the operation evolved from a small local enterprise into an established production and visitor destination.

The farm uses automated massage machines and self-service milking systems that allow buffaloes to be milked according to their natural rhythm. This technology lets the animals control their own milk production, contributing to higher quality and animal welfare.
