The Tsuyama Manabi Railway Museum displays 13 preserved locomotives, multiple train cars, and engineering components within a former locomotive depot building.
The museum occupies a fan-shaped locomotive depot constructed in 1936, which contained 17 storage tracks and served as a maintenance facility.
The exhibits include the Class D51 steam locomotive and DD13 diesel locomotive, representing the evolution of Japanese railway transportation methods.
The museum opens daily from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM except Mondays, with final entry at 3:30 PM and seasonal closures from December 29 to January 3.
The facility houses the DE50-1 diesel locomotive, the single unit of this type manufactured in Japan, alongside an educational diorama of Tsuyama streets.
