La Lucha Libre, Mexican-themed restaurant and bar in 5th arrondissement, Paris, France
La Lucha Libre is a Mexican-inspired restaurant and bar in the 5th arrondissement spread across two levels. The dining area sits upstairs while a real wrestling ring occupies the basement for live performances.
The restaurant opened in February 2020 and brought the first wrestling ring into a European bar. This new venture created an entirely fresh entertainment concept for Paris dining.
The name references Mexican wrestling, a centuries-old art form, and this is reflected through authentic luchador masks and photographs that line the walls. The concept brings this cultural practice directly to Paris, making visitors part of its story.
The venue opens Wednesday through Saturday from 6 PM and stays open late into the night. Table reservations can be made, and the space accommodates private events for up to 80 people.
Guests can actively participate in supervised wrestling matches inside the actual ring and test their own skills. This interactive element sets the place apart from typical restaurants and turns a visit into a real experience.
