Le Bouc Blanc, Mountain restaurant in Courchevel, France.
Le Bouc Blanc occupies two floors with decorated dining rooms and a large terrace overlooking the Courchevel ski area at 2000 meters elevation. This layout gives guests the choice between sheltered interior spaces and open outdoor areas with mountain views.
The site began as grazing land in the La Perrière commune and transformed during the development of the La Tania resort for the 1992 Olympic Games. This shift from rural landscape to winter sports destination shaped the area's character.
The menu showcases regional Savoyard dishes made from locally sourced ingredients, including lamb shank with thyme and classic gratin dauphinois from the French Alps. Diners experience the flavors that define mountain cooking in this area.
Visitors can access the restaurant via the red Les Lanches slope, the blue Les Arolles run, or by using the La Tania cable car for non-skiers. These different routes make arrival convenient whether you are skiing or walking.
A separate snack chalet serves quick meals, while deck chairs on the main terrace offer spots to enjoy Génépi liqueur while taking in mountain views. This casual extension to the main dining experience adds flexibility to how guests spend their time.
