Hotel Si is a contemporary lodging in a residential area of Taichung, designed with minimalist architecture and bright white concrete finishes. The rooms are simply appointed with quality mattresses and bathrooms featuring separate wet and dry zones.
Hotel Si opened in 2019 and was designed by an architecture firm from New Zealand. It represents the only Asian implementation of this specific hotel design and adds contemporary lodging to Taichung's accommodations.
The hotel reflects Taiwan's blend of tradition and contemporary design. Its bright spaces and plant-filled entrance create an environment that connects local values of peace with modern aesthetics.
The hotel sits in a residential zone with five on-site parking spaces and access to partner parking with free evening rates. Front desk staff can assist with transportation bookings and provide transit cards for local services.
The building was constructed using exposed concrete, a material that creates visible texture in the white finish and gives the house a clean, clinical appearance. This building method makes the hotel visually distinct from other lodgings in the area.
