Strozzi Palace

Strozzi Palace is an art museum housed in a grand Renaissance building in the heart of Florence. The structure impresses with its rectangular layout, balanced facades, and a central courtyard framed by stone arcades.

A member of the wealthy Strozzi family commissioned construction in 1489 to demonstrate his family's strength and intentionally build a larger residence than their rivals the Medici. Over the centuries, the building passed through various hands before eventually becoming a foundation-managed art center.
