Palazzo Medici-Tornaquinci, Renaissance palace in Via Tornabuoni, Florence, Italy
The palace features four floors with a mezzanine level, incorporating four large portals on the ground floor and arched windows on the first floor.
The Soldanieri family, who were Ghibellines, originally owned the palace until their property was seized, after which it passed to the Strozzi family.
The building contains a wooden tabernacle displaying a 14th-century Madonna and houses two merchant courtyards connected by an 18th-century staircase.
The ground floor currently accommodates various commercial establishments, while the upper levels maintain their historical architectural elements.
A marble plaque from 1762 remains on the right side of the building, listing specific commercial activities prohibited in Piazza Strozzi.
