Browar Lubicz, Restaurant and brewery in central Krakow, Poland
Browar Lubicz is a restaurant and brewery in central Krakow, housed in a restored 19th-century malthouse. The building combines exposed brick walls and industrial elements with modern dining spaces spread across several levels.
The brewery was founded in 1840 and produced continuously until World War II. After restoration, it now blends traditional brewing methods with contemporary dining.
Polish regional dishes share the menu with international cuisine, with each meal thoughtfully paired with beers from the adjacent brewery. The kitchen adjusts its offerings seasonally and sources local ingredients from nearby suppliers.
The establishment opens Monday through Friday from noon to midnight, with extended weekend hours. Separate spaces are available for events and conferences accommodating up to 120 guests.
Guests can observe the brewing process through glass panels while dining, watching the master brewer create beers from recipes passed down through generations. This open view offers a rare glimpse into the traditional craft of beer production.
