GranSerena Hotel
GranSerena Hotel is a beachfront lodging property in Torre Canne along Italy's southeastern coast. The building spans six floors with over 300 rooms set within landscaped grounds of palm trees and gardens, positioned roughly 200 meters from the sandy shoreline.
Torre Canne began as a small fishing settlement that sustained itself for generations along this coastline. The village grew around a defensive watchtower and gradually transformed into a leisure destination, while fishing remained the primary livelihood for local residents over centuries.
The name Torre Canne refers to the old watchtower and reeds that once lined this coast. Today, visitors experience the slow rhythm of a fishing village, where local habits and the simple pace of life remain visible in how people spend their time by the water and in the town.
The property offers free parking and Wi-Fi access in common areas, making arrival straightforward for all guests. The short 200-meter walk to the beach is flat and accessible, with ramps and specially equipped rooms available for those needing mobility support.
The property connects to natural thermal springs known since the 1800s, historically used for healing and physical therapy purposes. Starting in summer 2025, an outdoor thermal park with warm pools and massage jets will open, introducing a new wellness feature to the area.
