Spiaggia Torre Canne

Spiaggia Torre Canne is a beach along the Adriatic Sea with golden sand and clear water ideal for swimming and water sports. It stretches for several kilometers and has a mixed character with small rock formations at the edges.

The watchtower dating from the 16th century was built as a defensive structure against maritime threats and still shapes the skyline today. This defensive architecture reflects the coastline's long history as a border region between different powers.

The name Torre Canne comes from the old tower overlooking the beach, which has shaped how people here live with the sea. Local restaurants along the shore cook fresh fish daily using traditional Apulian recipes passed down through generations.

The beach has developed areas with lounge chair and umbrella rentals, plus public restrooms and parking available. A visit works year-round, though the main season is from June through September when water is warm and services are fully available.

In shallow zones near the shore are natural mud deposits rich in minerals that visitors use for relaxing treatments. These warm mineral pools formed through natural geological processes and are free to access.
