The Domaine du Rayol is a botanical garden and restaurant in Rayol-Canadel-sur-Mer, on the French Mediterranean coast. It sits on a hillside overlooking the sea, on land protected by the Conservatoire du Littoral.
The garden opened in 1989 on land owned by the Conservatoire du Littoral and was designed by landscape architect Gilles Clément. It sits at the foot of the Maures massif, facing the islands of the Port-Cros National Park.
The Domaine du Rayol holds the "Esprit Parc National" label, reflecting its role in nature conservation. In summer, music evenings bring visitors together around Mediterranean sounds in the open air.
The garden is open every day throughout the year, making it suitable for both a short visit and a full day out. Ramps and wide paths make most of the site accessible for visitors with reduced mobility.
A rare lichen called Pyxine subcinerea was discovered on the site, adding to its scientific interest. A botanical gallery at the Bastidon is also planned to open in 2028, offering a new way to explore plant diversity on the grounds.
