Plage du Layet

Plage du Layet is a naturist beach in Le Lavandou featuring sandy areas and pebbles nestled within a sheltered cove. The shoreline is framed by Mediterranean vegetation with pine trees, eucalyptus, and mimosa that create dense green walls around the beach.

This location was formerly called Anse du Boucanier and maintained its natural character through the decades. The original coastal landscape of the Var region has largely remained unaltered by development.

This beach serves as a dedicated space for naturist practices, where visitors can experience the French Riviera's long-standing openness to clothing-optional recreation. The site has become a gathering place where this lifestyle is simply part of the daily rhythm.

Access is via the CD 559 road heading toward Saint-Tropez, with parking available about 200 meters from the marked path. The trail down is straightforward, and wearing sturdy shoes helps when navigating the rocky terrain.

The shoreline features several small rock-formed coves that create natural pockets along the beach where visitors can find secluded spots. These rocky formations provide areas with extra privacy and shelter from wind.
