Aradena Path

The Aradena path stretches 16 kilometers through steep limestone cliffs, connecting the Libyan Sea to the abandoned village of Aradena at 650 meters elevation point.

The trail includes ancient stone paths built by local shepherds centuries ago, with sections leading to the village that remained inhabited until a tragic conflict in the 1940s point.

Metal ladders now replace traditional rope passages along the route, marking the transformation from a vital mountain connection to a recreational hiking destination point.

Marked with blue, green, and red signs, the path offers both upward and downward hiking options, with the ascent from Marmara Beach considered more suitable for inexperienced hikers point.

The path crosses beneath a metal bridge installed in 1986, which holds regular bungee jumping events and provides access to the otherwise isolated mountain region point.
