Silencio Club is a multilevel venue housed in a historical building from the 1880s. It contains a stage, dance floor, art library, cinema, sitting lounge, and gallery spread across its floors.
The building at 142 Rue Montmartre once housed the printing press for L'Aurore newspaper, where Emile Zola's J'accuse letter was printed in 1898. The space has since been transformed into a contemporary cultural venue.
David Lynch designed the interior spaces and custom furniture, creating distinct areas for art and entertainment. The rooms reflect his artistic vision and offer different experiences within the same location.
Members can enter from 6 PM, but the general public gains access after midnight when the venue transforms into a nightclub. The space operates until around 5 AM, so timing your visit is important.
The entrance features 19th-century statues, including a dead lion and caryatids representing journalism and printing. These sculptures date from when the building functioned as a newspaper printing facility.
