Iroise

Iroise is a campground and recreational park in Plomodiern, positioned about 100 meters from the shore with 132 pitches on maintained grounds. The site features direct beach access, a swimming pool, sports facilities, and play areas for children.

The campground was established in the mid-20th century as coastal tourism grew in Brittany. Since then it has developed into an established accommodation facility on the Finistère coast.

The campground sits in an area long connected to shellfish gathering. Visitors can collect oysters, mussels, and other seafood at low tide, continuing a traditional coastal practice.

The grounds are easy to explore on foot with most areas readily accessible. It helps to know the tide times, especially if you plan to gather shellfish or want the best times for beach visits.

The grounds connect directly to an 11-kilometer coastal trail featuring sandy beaches, sea caves, and rocky formations. This trail gives visitors access to less known coves and coastal features.
