Pamucak Beach

Pamucak Beach is a sandy shore along the Aegean coast where shallow waters and soft sand have formed from sediment deposits of the Meander River. The wide expanse provides plenty of space for swimming and relaxation.

The Meander River deposited sediment over thousands of years, which naturally shaped this beach and altered the coastal landscape of ancient Ionia. These deposits continue to define the shoreline today.

Families gather in designated picnic areas along the shore, where they share meals together following Turkish customs of communal outdoor dining.

The beach is easy to access and provides changing facilities and showers for visitors. Arriving early helps you find a good spot, especially on weekends when it gets busy.

During low tide, natural pools form in the shallows and reflect the sky like mirrors, creating a shimmering effect along the shoreline. These calm pools warm up and become particularly lovely in the evening light.
