Aqua Brava, Water park in Roses, Spain
The recreational complex spans over 10 hectares with 28 water attractions, including Europe's largest wave pool and multiple water slides for different age groups.
Since its establishment in the 1980s, Aqua Brava has expanded from a basic water facility to become the Costa Brava region's principal aquatic entertainment center.
The park incorporates Mediterranean design elements throughout its facilities, reflecting the local architectural style of the Costa Brava coastal region.
Visitors can access free parking, rent lockers for belongings, and choose from three dining establishments serving regional and international food options.
The park features an Aquaroc pool area with a 26-meter climbing wall, allowing guests to combine rock climbing activities with water-based entertainment.

Spain's water parks offer water slides, wave pools, and thrill rides throughout the country. From Tenerife's Thai-themed Siam Park to Madrid's Warner Beach, these venues combine water attractions with distinct themes. Parks include specialized areas for children, high-speed slides for thrill-seekers, and relaxation zones with pools. Many locations incorporate regional characteristics, such as Marineland Catalunya's dolphinarium and Aqua Tropic's saltwater facilities. The parks operate primarily during summer months, with locations across mainland Spain and its islands.
The Costa Brava stretches along the Catalan Mediterranean coast, combining historical monuments with natural landscapes. Girona Cathedral features the widest Gothic nave in the world, while the Salvador Dalí Museum in Figueres houses the largest collection of the surrealist artist's works. The 10th-century monastery of Sant Pere de Rodes sits above the coast overlooking the sea. The Greek and Roman ruins of Empúries document over a thousand years of Mediterranean settlement. Medieval villages such as Pals and Peratallada have preserved their fortified structures and cobbled streets. The Marimurtra Botanical Garden in Blanes displays Mediterranean and exotic plant species along the cliffs. The coastline offers beaches of various sizes, from the wide sandy stretches at Platja d'Aro to small coves tucked between rocks. The Medes Islands form a marine reserve for divers and snorkelers. The coastal path Camí de Ronda connects many towns, passing through pine forests and along clifftops.
