Cabana do Sol is a wooden building with multiple levels on Avenida Litorânea, featuring four separate dining areas overlooking the beach. The structure accommodates up to 650 guests and combines different room segments for various types of visits.
The restaurant started as a single location at São Marcos Lighthouse and later expanded to this beachfront site. This growth changed the local dining scene and set a new standard for beach restaurants in the area.
The rooms show regional decoration and serve Maranhense cuisine, including signature dishes like Peixada and Carne de Sol. You can sense how the space celebrates local food traditions and dining customs.
Guests can choose between air-conditioned indoor spaces or an outdoor terrace, with the restaurant open daily. The different levels and rooms allow flexible exploring and various seating experiences during your visit.
The Salão Crioulas section seats 470 people and forms the heart of the venue. An elevated mezzanine above creates an intimate space for just 40 guests with its own character.
