Golf Villa D'Este

The Villa d'Este Golf Club spreads across natural terrain with 18 holes surrounded by more than 30,000 trees near Lake Montorfano. The layout sits between pre-Alpine mountain ranges and features varying difficulty levels on each hole.

The course was designed by Peter Gannon in 1926 and became a venue for major Italian golf championships. Starting from 1932, it hosted twelve editions of the Italian Open, establishing the club's reputation.

The clubhouse and grounds reflect Italian golf culture, where players gather between rounds to dine and socialize. This tradition of combining golf with regional cuisine shapes daily life at the club.

The course is accessible most days of the week, except on certain Mondays, and visitors can rent equipment or book professional lessons. It is advisable to reserve in advance and check current opening times.

Each of the 18 holes presents a different technical challenge, with natural obstacles like trees and terrain strategically shaping play. This variety makes every round a fresh experience for regular players.
