Camifolia Jardin des Plantes Médicinales, Medicinal plants garden in Chemillé-en-Anjou, France.

Camifolia is a botanical garden in Chemillé-en-Anjou that grows more than 600 plant species across about 3.5 hectares (8.6 acres). The space is divided into six themed sections, including a scent hill and an edible plant forest.

The region shifted to medicinal plant cultivation in the 1800s after a vineyard disease devastated local agriculture. This change established Chemillé as a major center for herbal farming in France.

The garden's name reflects the local plant heritage that defined the region for generations. Visitors can observe how herbs remain central to traditional remedies and everyday wellness practices in this part of France.

The garden is best visited on warm days when plants are flowering and scents are strongest. Comfortable shoes are recommended since there are many winding paths throughout the space.

Visitors are invited to touch, smell, and taste many of the plants, making learning hands-on and personal. There is also a bamboo section and an unusual spider-themed passage to explore.
