Golf des Chanalets, Golf course in Bourg-lès-Valence, France.
Golf des Chanalets is an 18-hole golf course that stretches across a large terrain with views toward the Rhône river and the Vercors mountains. The setting allows players to see the surrounding landscape and notice the river and mountains clearly from different points on the course.
The course started with nine holes in 1990 and expanded later into a complete 18-hole facility playable year-round. This growth made it into an established golf destination in the region.
The club hosts regular tournaments that bring together golfers from the region and shape the social rhythm of the place. These gatherings create occasions for people of different skill levels to meet and share their passion for the game.
There are 22 practice stations on the grounds, with eight covered positions that provide shelter during bad weather. Visitors can also use a smaller practice course with four holes and dedicated greens for approach shots.
The course received a bronze label in 2021 for its environmental efforts and the creation of zones specifically designed for bees and other pollinators. This ecological approach sets it apart from many other golf courses in the region.
