Parc Jean-Perdrix, Public park in Valence, France.
The park extends across 26 hectares with 4,000 trees, including 400 cedar trees, a large water feature, and an amphitheater for outdoor activities.
The development of Parc Jean-Perdrix began in the 1960s under Mayor Jean Perdrix's initiative to accommodate the growing population of Valence.
Two monumental water towers, designed by sculptor Philolaos Tloupas, stand at 52 and 57 meters high as examples of urban architectural innovation.
Located between Plan and Fontbarlettes districts, the park features walking paths, children's playground, petanque court, and fitness trail for visitors.
Urban architect Andre Gomis directed the construction project from 1969 to May 1971, creating a multi-functional green space for the community.
