Зоокът Лесковец

The zoo houses various species including fallow deer, mouflon, pheasants, peacocks, rheas, black swans, ponies, and exotic alpacas in a forested setting.

The zoo was established near Pernik, serving as a regional animal sanctuary approximately 14 kilometers from the mining city and Krakra fortress.

The facility provides educational opportunities for visitors to learn about different animal species while maintaining direct contact with certain inhabitants.

The zoo operates Wednesday through Sunday from 10:00 to 17:00, with admission prices set at 6 leva for adults and 3 leva for children.

A white albino wallaby with red eyes resides among the inhabitants, representing one of the rarest specimens in Bulgarian zoos.
